Well it is another day and while I have heard alot of hooplah and rhetoric I don’t see that making a tax evader the head of the IRS is a change we can be proud of… But what do I know, I am just a simple man trying to figure out how to take care of my family. For me this is a day by day thing, I don’t have a hundred thousand dollar a year salary that can be frozen. I find it interesting that President Barak Hussein Obama froze government employee salaries and has not taken a stand on the compensation received by the management of the banks and business’ that are currently slopping down at the government trough on the big bailout bucks.

Well thats just my 2 cents worth, but then that is almost more than I can afford.

On this day, Inauguration day, It is important for us to look to the future of our country.  Whatever our political persuasion, we now have a new President for better or for worse. As a nation and a people it is up to us to help our leaders to lead this country in the right direction.  We need to fall on our knees and pray for not only this country and it’s people but we must also pray for our President.  President Barak Hussein Obama needs God to guide his path and we need to pray that his steps do not falter. Romans 8:28 states: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. “  God has a reason for President Barak Hussein Obama to be in office, now we need to pray to see the good that will come from this.

Why is it that our freedom of speech is being curtailed?  We are systematically losing our rights through erosion. Every day political correctness and special interest groups mine our language for any term or word which could be construed as hate speech. As much as I dislike hate speech it is still protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.  Just as the pornographers product is protected speech, the individuals right to express him or herself should be protected, as long as the language is not used in a threatening manner. Then it is no longer protected speech, it is a THREAT.  Of course, you knew that I was leading to the current trend to muzzle the Bible and the teachings therein.  If a Believer of the Bible states that being gay is a sin and a lifestyle choice, they are being accused of hate speech. This is a phenomenon this is escalating in this day and age. Why is it Free Speech for gay rights activists to scream their message in other peoples faces and assault others who do not agree with them? Why can they violate other’s civil liberties and rights and disrupt their church services? The Constitution and the amendments are for ALL Americans.

What can I say? We have a new President-elect. Obviously not the one we wanted. We will pray for him and our country because it is God’s will that he be elected. We will be keeping a close eye on this country and praying for it.

Well we went to vote.  While I have my own ideas on who to vote for I want everyone to vote for their candidate because that is the only way our country will work. We have to work because it is based on WE THE PEOPLE.

We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Just when I think we have room to breath without satan taking a swipe at us today happens…  The guy we bought our house from was a do-it-yourselfer and not a great one at that..  He replaced all the plumbing fixtures with new ones before we bought our house.  Only, he used only the worst stuff he could find.  The only metal in them was the screw holding the knob and the spring and that is debateable.  Well just as we are recovering from mom troubles (will explain later maybe) the shower in the bathroom starts leaking between the enclosure and the wall and the only shutoff is in the street.  Thank God for friends who will crawl through a spider infested crawlspace !!!!  We are looking foward to Gods abundance.
